Registration Number : PMOPG/E/2026/0022461 Subject: Concern regarding the interests of farmers and workers in the context of the India–USA Trade Agreement To, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Respectful greetings. As a conscious Indian citizen, I wish to place before you my serious concern regarding the future of farmers, workers, and the poor in the context of the India–USA trade agreement. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had clearly stated that political freedom remains incomplete unless the nation becomes economically self-reliant. Similarly, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar warned that no democracy can survive withou...

ЁЯУЪ Reforming India’s Education System — A Need of the Hour!

Service or Pure Business?

What is the true meaning of education?
Education is not limited to schools and colleges. In reality, any learning process that helps a person acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for life is education. For example, learning to swim, to make fine footwear, or to cook delicious food — all are forms of education. However, this sacred process of knowledge-sharing has now become a business for profit.

Teaching: From Service to Trade

Teaching is a noble act of sharing wisdom. But when teachers get corrupted by selfish motives, this act of service turns into a trade. Many government teachers avoid regular classes while running private tuitions. The result — education has become a market of money, and the belief that “no success without coaching” has taken deep roots in society.

Education: A Factory for Jobs, Not for Creativity

Expensive coaching centers may help secure jobs, but they have failed to produce true scientists, thinkers, or innovators. The system trains students to memorize answers and reproduce them in exams — creating artificial intelligence, not creative minds.

“Intelligence is not the storage of information but the development of imagination.” — Albert Einstein

Countries like Finland and Denmark have proven that focusing on students’ well-being and creativity builds responsible citizens and innovative societies.

ЁЯЗлЁЯЗо Finland Education Model

  • Formal education starts at the age of 7, allowing natural development in early years.
  • Very little homework and minimal standardized testing.
  • Teachers enjoy high social respect and great autonomy in classrooms.

ЁЯЗйЁЯЗ░ Denmark Education Model

  • No exams or homework until the age of 12.
  • Education is free and equal for all children between 7 and 16 years.
  • Focus on cooperation and social responsibility instead of competition.

India’s Problem — Policy Exists, Implementation Doesn’t

India has progressive frameworks like the National Education Policy (NEP), but they often remain on paper. To bring real change, strict implementation is essential:

  • Severe penalties for teachers running private coaching while in service.
  • Performance-based promotions and salary increments.
  • Use of technology (biometric attendance, classroom monitoring) to ensure accountability.

Conclusion: Education with Social Responsibility

Our education system fails to teach social commitment. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, and teachers often prioritize money over service. Only a few remain honest torchbearers of change. Reforming education is not just the government’s job — it is our collective duty. Educational reform is the real need of the hour.
