Ayushman Bharat Card: How to Choose Hospital & Claim Process

Ayushman Bharat Yojana is launched to provide free healthcare services to poor and needy families. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can avail cashless treatment up to ₹5 lakh per year.

How to Choose Hospital?

  1. Visit the official PMJAY Hospital Search Website.
  2. Select your State and District.
  3. Check the list of both government and private empanelled hospitals.
  4. Choose the hospital nearest or most convenient for you.

Claim Process

  • Beneficiary only needs to show Ayushman Card and Aadhaar card at the hospital.
  • The hospital’s Ayushman Mitra will verify your eligibility and initiate treatment.
  • The treatment cost is directly settled between the insurance company and the hospital.
  • No money is required to be paid by the patient or family.

Important Tips

✔ Always confirm that the hospital is empanelled under PMJAY before starting treatment.
✔ Use only the official website to find hospital details.
