Poisoned Food, Rising Cancer and Chemical Farming: This Is Not Just a Mistake, It Is a Crime

The rapid rise in cancer cases today is not a coincidence, nor merely the result of lifestyle changes. It is the consequence of toxins that have accumulated in the human body over time — and today, the biggest source of those toxins has become our food.

Not Ignorance, But Deliberate Greed

The use of urea, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in modern farming is not done out of ignorance.

Farmers and producers are aware of the recommended dosage, spraying intervals, and the mandatory waiting period before harvest. Yet, excessive use continues — driven by profit and market competition.

Society, nation, fellow citizens, humanity — these values rarely influence food production today. This uncomfortable truth must be acknowledged.

“China Vegetables”: A Disturbing Example of the System

The so-called “China vegetables” widely available in markets today represent an extreme example of this larger problem.

Unnaturally rapid growth, abnormal size, lack of natural durability, and an illusion of enhanced taste — these are not genuine qualities, but symptoms of excessively chemical-dependent farming.

There is little effective monitoring of where and how these vegetables are grown, or what quantity of chemicals are used. Regulatory mechanisms are weak, and consumers often rely only on price and appearance.

The issue is not merely about “China vegetables”; the real issue is the system that allows such production to flourish unchecked.

Consumers’ Negligent Irresponsibility

In this situation, consumers too are not entirely innocent.

  • Ignoring known health risks
  • Prioritizing taste, color, and visual appeal
  • Adopting the mindset that “everyone eats it”

The cost of this collective indifference is now visible in the rising cases of cancer, diabetes, and hormonal disorders.

This Is Not an Individual Failure — It Is a Systemic One

Yes, this is a systemic failure.

  • Farmers operate under market pressure
  • Markets are driven by profit
  • Consumers are trapped in habit and convenience

Breaking this chain requires decisive intervention from governance and law.

The “Ideal Farmer” Award: A Tragedy

Today, the title of “Ideal Farmer” is often awarded not on the basis of how healthy and safe the food produced is, but on how much income was generated. This is not merely an inconsistency — it is a tragedy of our food system.

If profit becomes the sole measure of excellence, toxic farming will continue to receive social validation.

Banning Chemical Farming: A Necessity, Not an Option

Half-measures have proven ineffective.

Chemical farming must be phased out completely, and organic and natural farming must be made legally mandatory.

  • Gradually eliminate chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides
  • Provide guaranteed pricing and government protection for organic produce
  • Classify toxic food production as a punishable offense
  • Recognize toxin-free food as a fundamental human right

Toxin-Free Food = National Security

Just as we speak of water security and energy security, toxin-free food security must become a national priority.

Because today, people may not die immediately — but they are being slowly destroyed from within.

This is not merely an agricultural issue; it is a question of our very existence.
