📌 Introduction
In a democratic country like India, the judicial system is considered the final hope of the people. The belief that “justice will be served” gives strength to the common man to live. However, in today’s situation, this trust often appears to be shaken. The question arises — why is the judicial system being misled?
⚖️ The Web of False Evidence
In many cases, it is observed that both plaintiffs and defendants present fake documents, forged certificates, and misleading reports. Behind this, there is often involvement of corrupt administrative officials who prepare false documents in exchange for bribes.
➡️ Courts deliver judgments based on the evidence presented.
➡️ But when the evidence itself is false, justice also becomes flawed.
Often, even decision-making authorities either deliver incorrect judgments due to greed or delay decisions for long periods.
💰 Justice Powered by Money?
In some places today, a perception has developed that:
“Justice is available only if you have money.”
Some lawyers, driven by greed, assist criminals by using tactics to create and present false evidence. Meanwhile, poor and common people are deprived of justice.
⏳ Delayed Justice is Denied Justice
“Justice delayed is justice denied” — this statement is now a reality.
Cases dragging on for 10–15 years
Long battles even for basic issues like access roads
People eventually get tired and settle
➡️ In many cases, people are forced to buy land for access roads or pay money to those blocking the road. While the rich may manage this, what should the poor do?
➡️ In some instances, such disputes have even led to violence and murders.
🚜 Real Experience: Right of Way Struggle
Since March 16, 2026, farmers have been facing severe difficulties due to obstruction of access roads.
Administrative negligence
Delay in justice
Mental and financial distress
This is not just one example but a reflection of flaws in the entire system.
🔍 What Can Be the Solutions?
1. Independent Verification Mechanism & Strict Laws
The judiciary should not blindly trust the evidence presented by parties. There must be an independent system to verify the authenticity of documents. The government should enact strong laws to establish such mechanisms and punish those who submit false evidence.
2. Transparency in Administration
Immediate action must be taken against corrupt officials, and accountability must be fixed.
3. Speedy Justice System
Fast-track courts should be increased to ensure timely decisions.
✊ The Power of Movements
History shows that:
Public movements like hunger strikes often awaken the system.
➡️ Pressure forces the administration to act
➡️ Authorities are compelled to work honestly
🧭 Conclusion
The judicial system is the backbone of democracy.
If it is misled, public trust collapses.
👉 Justice should not only be done, but it must also be seen to be done
👉 A system that ensures justice for the poor and oppressed is the true democracy!
