Leadership Should Be Judged by Work, Not by Age!

"The real question is not 'Young or Old?' but 'Who is the Right Leader?'"

As the Gram Panchayat elections approach, a new debate has emerged: "Give the younger generation a chance instead of the older generation." There is no disagreement that young people deserve opportunities. They bring fresh ideas, energy, innovation, and the ability to adapt to changing times.

However, Age Alone Cannot Be the Standard for Leadership.

Just as leadership should not be chosen based on family background, caste, money, personal relationships, or influence, it should also not be decided solely by age.

A village needs a representative who:

• ✔ Has a proven record of public service.
• ✔ Has stood up for people's rights.
• ✔ Understands administration and governance.
• ✔ Has a clear vision for development.
• ✔ Is honest, transparent, and committed.
• ✔ Has earned the trust of the community.

An honest and experienced 55-year-old leader may contribute far more to the village than an inactive 25-year-old.

Likewise, a dedicated, knowledgeable, and hardworking young leader may outperform an inactive senior leader.

So the Question Is Not "Young or Old"...

The Only Question Is...

"Who Is the Most Capable?"

A village does not develop because of someone's date of birth. It progresses through integrity, proven work, experience, vision, competence, and commitment to public welfare.

Let Us Make a Collective Resolution

❌ No Family Politics.
❌ No Nepotism.
❌ No Vote Buying.
❌ No Decisions Based Solely on Age.

✔ Choose Character, Competence, Integrity, and Public Service.

A Village Does Not Need a Young Face or an Old Face...

It Needs the Right Leader.
